Job Description Job Description Description: The Photography Manager is responsible for leading the creation and execution of photography for Stonewall Kitchen’s Family of Brands in support of all creative, packaging, communications, and marketing. This role will not only act as lead photographer, but will also manage the photography team. Manage the Photography team, providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback. 2. Act as lead for the Photography Team and work in accordance with the brand identity and direction of the Creative Director. 3. Light and shoot digital product photography of styled products and packaging photography. 4. Collaborate and communicate with Creative, Ecommerce, and Marketing teams to understand their needs. 5. Process images: appropriate cropping, clipping paths, color correcting, manipulation, and re-sizing for the web. 6. Upload all images to FTP as needed 7. Efficiently organize and archive all photography for easy retrieval 8. Keep all studio equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and editing software clean, organized, inventoried, and maintained. 9. Direct stylists as needed to ensure the product is styled efficiently and correctly 10. Maintains the schedule and workflow that ensure completing the daily production requirements 11. Oversee recipe developer to ensure properly styled food for photo shoots and support the work of the R&D teams. 12. Coordinate and direct offsite photo shoots as needed including sourcing and working with outside freelancers. Provide shot list and inspiration swipe/art direction ahead of shoot. Stonewall Kitchen is an EEO employer . Requirements: 1. BFA/Photography degree and 5+ years work experience in photography or related field. 2. Experience supervising a team. 3. Videography experience a plus. 4. Proficient on Mac OSX: InDesign, Capture One, Photoshop. 5. Proven digital camera and photography skills are a must. 6. Strong organization and communication skills. 7. Experience working with Digital and Film Cameras – 35mm, Medium and Large Format – and Tungsten and strobe lighting. 8. Excellent lighting and styling skills pertaining to tabletop product photography. 9. Knowledge of food styling is a plus. 10. Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines. 11. Ability to climb stairs. 12. Ability to climb ladders for lighting as needed. 13. Ability to lift and move equipment and props as needed.
